Privacy Policy — ExamAI Smart Study Assistant

Last Updated: August 9, 2026  •  Effective Date: June 22, 2026  •  Package: com.ai.studyassistant

Introduction

ExamAI does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and stores your quiz history, bookmarks, and notes only on your own device. By using ExamAI, you agree to the terms described in this Privacy Policy.

Information We Do NOT Collect

ExamAI itself does not collect: name, email, phone number, location/GPS, camera or microphone access, contacts or call logs, photos or media, financial/payment info, login credentials, browsing history, or any personally identifiable information.

The exceptions are the advertising ID (used by Google AdMob) and an anonymous Firebase installation identifier (used for crash reporting and analytics). Neither is tied to your name or identity.

You can delete all this data at any time by uninstalling the app.

Internet Permission & Third-Party APIs

ExamAI requires internet access to fetch fresh study content and ads, using these free, public APIs:

No personal information is sent to any of these APIs — only topic or subject names.

No User Accounts

ExamAI does not require you to create an account, log in with Google/Facebook/any service, provide an email address, or verify your phone number. You can use the full app anonymously from the moment you install it.

Advertising

ExamAI shows ads via Google AdMob to keep the app free, at non-intrusive points (list screens and after finishing a quiz) — never during active question-answering.

AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID and general technical data (device type, general location from IP, ad interaction data) to serve and measure ads, per Google's Ads Privacy & Terms. We do not receive or store this data ourselves.

Where required by law (e.g. EEA/UK), ExamAI asks for consent to personalized ads via Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) before loading ads. You can decline personalized ads and still see non-personalized ads.

Analytics & Crash Reporting

ExamAI uses Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand usage and catch crashes.

Includes: screens viewed and in-app actions (exam/subject/topic practiced, quiz completion and scores, bookmark/note actions), general device/app info (model, OS version, app version, approximate country from IP), and crash/error reports with stack traces.

Does NOT include: your name, email, phone number, or anything that identifies you personally. Firebase assigns an anonymous installation identifier, not your real identity. See Firebase's privacy terms.

Children's Privacy

ExamAI is used by students of many ages, including some under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone — the app requires no account, login, or personal details from any user, child or adult. Ad requests are configured to comply with COPPA and the Google Play Families Policy, defaulting to non-personalized ads until consent is given.

Data Security & Retention

Since ExamAI does not collect or transmit personal data itself, there is minimal personal data at risk from us directly. Data stored locally on your device is protected by your device's built-in security. We do not retain any user data on our servers because we have no servers that collect user data. Local data is retained until you clear the app's cache/data or uninstall the app.

Your Rights

For Google/AdMob-side data controls, see Google Ads Settings.
